Therapy Swing for Kids with Special Needs, Soft Silk Nylon Sensory Cuddle Hammock, 110in x 63in

This therapy swing is a sensory cuddle hammock designed for children and teens with autism, ADHD, Asperger's Syndrome, or Sensory Processing Disorder. It provides a soft, enclosed space where a child can sit or lie down and feel gentle pressure all over. The raindrop shape and silk nylon fabric help reduce unwanted sensory stimulation, making it easier to find calm. The swing also supports body awareness, balance, motor planning, and spatial skills through movement. It comes with the hardware needed for hanging, including a daisy chain, carabiner, and connecting rope. The height adjusts easily, so the swing can be used indoors or outdoors. It is suitable for ages 3 to 10, with adult supervision for young children. The maximum load is 110 lbs (50 kg), and a one-year guarantee is included.

Features and Construction

The swing is built around a silk nylon hammock and a set of hanging accessories. The materials are chosen for softness and practical use, and the included hardware removes the need to buy separate parts. The design focuses on providing a comfortable enclosed space for sensory input.

Material and Build

The hammock is made from silk nylon, which gives a soft, smooth surface for sitting or lying against. The fabric forms a cocoon-like shape that surrounds the child gently. The included daisy chain is a multi-loop climber strength type, and the carabiner has a twist-lock system. A connecting rope joins the parts. These components are provided together so the swing can be hung without hunting for extra fittings. The maximum load-bearing capacity is 110 lbs (50 kg).

Size and Practical Fit

The hammock measures 110in L x 63in W. Four size options are available: 1.5x2.8 with no fixed disk, 1.5x2.8 with a fixed disk, 1x2.8 with no fixed disk, and 1x2.8 with a fixed disk. The colour options are Black, Blue, Gray, Green, Purple, Red, and Sky Blue. The daisy chain allows the height to be adjusted easily, so the swing can be set at a level that suits the child and the space. It is intended for children aged 3 to 10, with adult supervision and help for young children.

Uses and Placement

This swing can be used in different settings, from a therapy room to a living room or garden. It is designed to support sensory integration activities and provide a fun movement space. The adjustable hanging system makes it practical to move between indoor and outdoor locations.

Event or Professional Use

The swing is suitable for children and teens who have Sensory Processing Disorder, Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, or are on the autism spectrum. It can be used in therapy sessions to encourage body awareness, balance, motor planning, and spatial skills. The raindrop shape provides sensory pressure all over, which can help a child feel grounded. The swing can be used for bouncing, swinging, spinning, or lying down. The included hardware supports quick setup in a professional or home therapy space.

Everyday Home Use

At home, the swing offers a dedicated spot for a child to calm down or play. It can be hung indoors or outdoors using the daisy chain and carabiner. The height adjusts easily, so it can be raised or lowered as needed. The soft silk nylon fabric is comfortable for sitting or lying in. The swing is not a toy for unsupervised use; children aged 3 to 10 should have adult supervision, and young children need help getting in and out. The one-year guarantee gives cover if the product does not meet expectations.

Benefits and Buying Value

The swing combines sensory support with a simple hanging system. It is supplied with the main accessories needed for setup, and the adjustable design helps it fit different spaces. The materials and construction are described in the source information, and the guarantee adds reassurance.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

The silk nylon hammock can be wiped or cleaned according to the material's needs. The daisy chain and carabiner are reusable parts that stay with the swing when it is moved. The swing can be taken down and rehung in another indoor or outdoor spot using the same hardware. The adjustable daisy chain means the same swing can suit different heights as a child grows, within the stated age range. No extra purchases are required for the included parts.
